Richard was born in Kent, England. After studying at the University of London, he joined the RAF initially as a Fast Jet Navigator (a little bit like being 'Goose' in the film 'Top Gun' - but thankfully with a happier ending!!) After a stroke of luck, he got the opportunity to do what he really wanted to do - and retrained as an RAF pilot. The majority of his RAF flying was spent working in and around places east of the UK that have had a fair amount of media attention in recent years. On retirement from the RAF, he decided to relocated to the New Hampshire, USA with his family. A job opportunity brought him and his family back across 'The Pond' to continue in the Aviation Industry. He usually has his camera close at hand and hopes...
